After registering once, you can access the BMW Charging network using the BMW Charging Card, via the My BMW app or simply by plugging in your all-electric BMW**. Your BMW Charging details can be found in your BMW Charging Dashboard via our website or the My BMW App. Once per month we will send you an aggregated invoice detailing your public charging history.

How does the charging app work?
The app is very easy to use. In a nutshell: after login, you can choose from hundreds of charge points, filter on them, get direction to the address of the charge points, as well as start and end charging sessions.
It is also possible to look at your account and contract details, create favourites, and so much more!

How can I use the charging card?
This is your physical authentication tool to be able to charge your car at our charging stations. When you are at a selected station, just hold your card to the card reader, and with this you can start / stop the charging session.
When searching for a station with charging card authentication capabilities, you can set a filter for such charging stations in the app or on our website.

** Starting from the BMW i5, many fully electric BMW models will be equipped with the Plug & Charge feature. All you have to do is plug your vehicle into a Plug & Charge-capable charging station – and that’s it. Charging starts automatically. You can also retroactively make your BMW i7 Plug & Charge-capable. Please contact your local sales advisor about this.
