Business Account Setup

If you don‘t already have an account, after alignment with your fleet manager, register a business account with BMW Charging using the same company details (VAT ID and company name) as your fleet manager. You can skip this step if you already have a business account.

Why am I still being charged on my Driver Account even though this feature is activated and someone else is covering my invoice?

Ensure that your Account is activated for this feature. If activated, a banner will appear at the top of your account when logged in on the website. Any costs incurred from charging events or monthly base fees before linking will still be invoiced to your Account.

What is the "Fleet" section in my Account about?

This BETA feature is tailored for small companies managing a fleet of electric vehicles, helping to streamline the administrative burden of handling multiple invoices from various accounts. Company car drivers with a "Company Account" benefit by having their invoiced costs transferred to their Fleet Manager's Company account, while Fleet Managers receive a consolidated invoice covering all linked accounts.

Fleet Managers need to create a company account on CHARGE NOW and can link other Charging Accounts via the "Fleet" tab on top of their accounts on the website.

Fleet Drivers need to create their company accounts, generate a code via the "Fleet" tab on top of their account on the website and send it to their Fleet Managers.
